We receive our chickens at 1 day old ,from a local hatchery, and rear them up to a minimum of 10 weeks of age. 

 

Our chickens are all Hubbard Broiler chickens. They start off inside under a heat lamp and when they reach around 5 weeks old we put them outside in an orchard pen to allow them to stretch their legs, forage and scratch around in the grass.
